Invited to Kickoff Stanford’s New Performance Studies Lecture Series

Please join us Wednesday, 10 October at 7pm in Prosser Theater for “Feeling Differently,” a roundtable with Carlos Motta, Sianne Ngai, Nomy Lamm, and Raegan Truax.

“Feeling Differently” is the first event in a new bi-quarterly lecture series, P.S., aimed at creating space for T&PS scholars to engage and grapple with pressing questions and emerging trends in performance studies and beyond.
For this roundtable, in conversation with Carlos Motta’s international database documentary “We Who Feel Differently,” we’ve asked each participant to respond to the prompt: how has the notion of “feeling differently” shaped, informed and/or materialized in aspects of your work as artists/activists/academics? It promises to be a rich discussion. A light reception will follow.
