Glass, Ice, String. Familiar Beginnings
The slow drip time
a state of a world Melting, Breaking
Refusing Ingestion Inside Outside Mouth as puddle. Holding pungent residue of transformation and rot. Gagging, flexing stomach and toes, widening chest, the head turns slowly. Liquid spills and gathers in clavicle. Spills and gathers between breasts, spills and gathers in navel, between foot and floor. Puddles again. One week later. What remains? Saliva, sticky residue, broken glass, the smell of decay, a stained button-up shirt
Nearly There was performed on July 24, 2015 from 7pm – 12am at Grüntaler9 in Berlin. For the duration of the performance I was silent, did not have a timepiece and did not leave the performance space.
